Block and Bridle

The Block and Bridle Club is an Animal Science club at the University of Georgia. Our objectives are to promote a higher scholastic standard and a more complete understanding of Animal Science among student members, to promote animal agriculture through the development of a program of activities that will supplement students' study of animal sciences, to enhance the professionalism of students who will one day be leaders in the animal agriculture industry, and to bring about a closer relationship among all students pursuing some phase of animal agriculture as a profession.

Each year the club hosts and co-hosts several events including:

- The Summer Classic Lamb and Goat Show
- The Little International Livestock Show
- The Classic City Showdown
- The Great Southland Stampede Rodeo
- The Spring Animal and Dairy Science Banquet

You do not have to have an agriculture major to join our club, we accept and have many members with a variety backgrounds and lifestyles. So come on out and join in on the fun! We'd love to have you!
