January 2018

Undergraduate Research Initiative, Proposals Due

CAES students and their research mentors are invited to apply for funding to cover research-related costs. Funding applications are due on January 19 Students who receive funding are required to present their research findings at the CAES Undergraduate Research Symposium on April 11, 2018. CAES faculty mentors will be awarded $500 to be applied toward research expenses.

Congressional Agricultural Fellowship Applications Due

The UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and the Congressional Offices of Johnny Isakson, Sanford Bishop, Austin Scott, Doug Collins, Buddy Carter and Rick Allen are pleased to offer summer fellowship opportunities for students in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

UGA Extension Intership Applications Due

UGA Extension offers paid internships ($455 per week) for college students to work for one semester in a county Extension office. Students will be matched with an agent in the county or region they prefer, if possible. The internship can be completed during any semester during the year. There are a limited number of paid internships available each year.
