About Tifton

The UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences has been a part of Tifton for almost a century. Its faculty and staff discover agricultural solutions and deliver them to people around the state, nation and world.

In recent years, we've pulled undergraduate students under that umbrella. Our world-renowned scientists are the teachers. Our laboratories, fields and region are the classrooms. In partnership with other south Georgia institutions, and armed with a clearer picture of what is needed from us, we are bringing more UGA degrees closer to home for many in south Georgia.
