Additional Resources
Turfgrass Management is a major in greener grass. Without turfgrass experts, the University of Georgia's Sanford Stadium wouldn't look as great for football games, golf courses wouldn't be as green, home lawns wouldn't be as manicured, and soccer fields would be more dirt than turf. Turfgrass Management majors study the science and culture of grasses used on golf courses, athletic fields, home lawns and other areas requiring an attractive but functional groundcover. This major is great for those who want hands-on, outside-of-the-classroom learning.
